e-Business Management Competence Centre


 
The Jordanian node of the Mediterranean School, called the e-Business Management Competence Centre (eBMCC) is located in the King Abdullah II School for Information Technology at The University of Jordan.  The center aims at promoting the digital innovation and change management practices. In addition, it aims at diffusing the awareness of the importance of ICT in Education and Business to attract local interests of public and private stakeholders who desire to pursue ICT-driven innovation processes.

The center occupies a space of 120 sqm and it is composed of a Lecture Room, a Multimedia and Content Production Laboratory, and an Administrative Office. It has been equipped with high-tech up-to-date equipments and software in order to perform effectively its tasks and carry out its activities. 

Similar to the other nodes of the Mediterranean school, the main offering of the eBMCC is composed of:
  • Training programs;
  • Refresher workshops and seminars;
  • Demonstrations of e-Business solutions in traditional industries and hi-tech sectors;
  • Access to Knowledge Management and Web Learning suite;
  • Incubation of business ideas;
  • Coaching and accompaniment;
  • Business networking;
  • Utilization of web and multimedia services.
