The School has defined an Action Plan that is articulated in four integrated actions:
- International Master and PhD Programmes
Full-time programs (one year for Master and three years for PhD) devoted to young talented people coming from Euro-Mediterranean countries. Both programs are completely held in English language. Mobility among Mediterranean countries, involving academic and industrial partners, characterizes part of both programs.
- Executive Programmes
Short-term programs for young tutors and managers to allow the diffusion and the accompaniment of companies (mainly SMEs) towards the adoption of e-Business processes, methodologies, systems and practices, as well as to promote cooperation and networking with other firms.
- Digital Innovation in Industries and Public Administration
Programs devoted to demonstrating the benefits of e-Business adoption (in all its aspects) in companies and Public Administrations, with a specific focus on: - “Open Government”, focused on the implementation of an Intelligent Regional Development Platform;
- “i-Destinations” (“i” stands for “Innovation”), aimed at promoting and developing advanced ICT-based applications for the innovative management of a touristic destination;
- “Digital Marketplace”, aimed at developing advanced ICT-based applications for the innovative management of an agro-industry value chain;
- “New Product Development” aimed at experimenting Collaborative Product Design processes in aeronautics and aerospace.
- Virtual Global Learning Environment
Project focused on creating a distributed and collaborative cyberspace to activate capacity building processes and lifelong learning dynamics, also by using Web Learning systems, Knowledge Management tools, Social Computing techniques and Web 2.0 services.
This learning environment for virtual collaboration represents a transversal asset for the other lines of the action plan.
